Elbewerft Boizenburg
Founded in 1793 at Boizenburg. Nationalised in 1947 as VEB Elbewerft Boizenburg. Merged with VEB Roßlauer Schiffswerft as VEB Elbewerften in 1970 but the yards were separated in 1990 after the reunification of Germany. Subsequently declared bankrupt in 1997 and the yard closed in 1998.
