BAE Systems
Formed in 1977 from the merger of the British Aircraft Corporation, Hawker Siddeley Aviation, Hawker Siddeley Dynamics and Scottish Aviation. Merged with Marconi in 1999 to form BAE Systems which included the Yarrow, Govan and Vickers shipbuilding yards. Acquired Vosper Thornycroft in 2008.
